Sparkling Cider & Perry

Rutts Rascal is a mix of West Country bitter sweet cider apples with sharp dessert fruit giving a good balanced mix of tannin and acid providing a unique taste. Rutts Rascal is a small-batch crafted product made only from fresh pressed apples. Variable growing conditions and cropping provide Rutts Rascal with a new flavour profile each year, but always to the same quality. The flavour is enhanced by the use of wild yeasts which provide a long slow fermentationBottle Conditioned to provide the fizz. Rutts Reserve is made with a blend of Somerset Redstreak and local eating varieties of apple. This combination produces a mild cider with a clean taste and soft tannins with a hint of acidity to balance the tannins from the Redstreak. With the sweetness level just above dry you are able to taste the full fruitiness of this old English cider variety. The flavour is enhanced by the use of wild yeasts which provide a long slow fermentation.  Bottle Conditioned to provide the fizz. Pewsey Perry is made from a lost variety of Perry Pear found in Pewsey Wiltshire. Pewsey Perry has a soft citric taste with a fragrant aroma. Wild yeasts have been allowed to slowly ferment the pears natural sugar to alcohol. In-bottle conditioning has produced an abundance of small soft bubbles giving a fresh mouth feel and a slight sediment. Pour carefully for a clear drink or just go for the cloudy authentic experience. Med Sweet 5.9%
